Authorities from Anti-Human Trafficking raided a house in Lower Bicutan, which was alleged to be a Taguig Cybersex den. Three minors, two male ages 5 and 11 and a 2 yrs. old girl were rescued from the said operation.
According to news reports, the intelligence report came from FBI. The three rescued kids were allegedly being used for a pornagraphic website. Pictures of the children were being distributed online. Authorities made a surveillance and was able to verify this illegal activity.
Found in the alleged Taguig Cybersex den were drug paraphernalia, laptop, weighing scale and log book and receipts containing remittance information.
Five suspects were arrested after the raid, wherein two of which are parents of the children that were rescued.
The mother of two children who will be facing criminal charges admitted that she is a drug-user. However, she vehemently denied involving her kids in this cybersex trade.
One of the suspects admitted the crime and stated that her niece/nephew worked in the frontline of the cyberesex business. It was said that the business was running since 2011.
The children will be turned over to DSWD for counselling. The custody of the children will all depend on joint decision of DSWD and the court.
