British PM David Camero Resigns after Brexit

British Prime Minister David Camero filed his resignation after results came out of the so called “Brexit”.

A referendum / voting that was participated by the British people was held whether UK should leave or remain in the European Union block .  51.9% voted for an exit (17,410,742 votes) , while 48.1% (16,141,241 votes) wanted to remain

He delivered his speech outside Downing Street yesterday .

Towards the end of his speech, British Prime Minister David became a bit emotional saying “I love this country and I feel honoured to have served it and I will do everything I can in future to help this great country succeed. Thank you very much.”

David Camero supported and campaigned Remain, believing that leaving EU will result to economic and security risks for UK. In 2012, he rejected having a referendum but said that it will be considered in the future.

British Prime Minister David Camero is set to leave his office by October.

He served as the UK as Prime Minister for six years from 2010. Considered as one of the youngest Prime Minister, he took this leadership role at the age of 43.

Names that came out to succeed the Prime Minister seat are Boris Johnson , Michael Gove, Theresa May and George Osborne.
