A video of a car towed forcibly by a towing company went viral on social media.
The video shows a grey sedan already hooked in a towing truck for pull-out. But what’s odd in this footage is the three people seen in the video. Three men was at the tail of the car and was was seen pushing the car downwards .
In the audio of the video, a thumping sound will be heard. It sounded as if something below the car was hitting the ground.
According to the report, the men did that to let the wheels of the car rolling. Unfortunately the car’s muffler was being slammed in the cemented ground as the car was being dragged.
The said incident of the car towed forcibly was said to have happened in Sampaloc, Manila.
It was confirmed that the towing truck was owned by a towing company accredited by the Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau (MTPB).
Luckily, the company admitted that their personnel committed an error . In an interview, the company’s personnel explained-
“Kesa kaladkarin, masira po yung gulong, dahan-dahan pong ginagalaw yun… Napalakas lang ng konti”
MTPB confirmed that the three men who were captured in the video was fired . Temporarily, MTPB also ceased the towing company to operate for them.
