Due to Tagaytay radar shutdown, more Cebu Pacific flights cancelled

The number of cancelled Cebu Pacific flights was reportedly increased due to the six-day maintenance shutdown of the air traffic radar in Tagaytay.

Allegedly, the low-cost carrier has announced that on top of over 100 Cebu Pacific flights, the subsidary Cebgo was also cancelled.

“The temporary closure, scheduled from March 6, 6 a.m. to March 11, 6 a.m., will result in a reduction of flights in conjunction with other carriers,” the carrier said in an earlier statement.

The additional canceled Cebu Pacific flights are the following:

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) is temporarily shutting down the air traffic radar in Tagaytay for upgrades and maintenance works.
