The Hybrid Electric Road Train (HERT) had a test run in Clark Freeport, Pampanga last June 25.  The HERT has 5 connected coaches (measuring up to 40 meters) that can accommodate 240 commuters and run up to 50 kilometers per hour. It is called Hybrid for it runs on both diesel fuel and electric battery.
