The 13-year-old Filipino Austrian Boy Wins The Voice Kids Germany 2016 on Friday.
Lukas Janisch, a Filipino Austrian Boy Wins The Voice Kids Germany after performing Adele’s “When We Were Young” while playing the piano for his final song during the show’s finale.
The boy gets a standing ovation from all three coaches, as well as the audience for his performance.
A similar response was also received by the Filipino Austrian boy during the Blind Auditions when he performed Alicia Keys’ song called “Fallin,” also while playing the piano.
During the Blind Auditions, Lukas Janich was just less than 20 seconds into his song when coach Lena Meyer-Landrut immediately pressed the “I Want You” button. Coaches Mark Foster and Sasha followed suit.
Thereafter, the Filipino Austrian boy eventually picked Foster to be his coach.
Hence, the boy had all the support from his family—his father, Filipina mother and little sister–accompanied him during his audition.
It was amazing that the Filipino Austrian Boy wonthe Voice Kids Germany as he truly loved music. Aside from the piano, Janisch also recently started learning to play the guitar. According to “The Voice Kids Germany” website, Janisch’s favorite performer is Beyonce.
It was known that Janisch’s family lives in Fürstenfeld, Austria based on his mother’s Facebook page. His mother, Maricar, is said to be from Leyte, Philippines, making him Filipino-Austrian.
