‘ Pia Wurtzbach enters showbiz ’ is one of the most exciting things you’ll hear today.
The appeal and charisma is not over for the Filipino-German icon as Pia Wurtzback enters showbiz.
After serving her glamorous reign as 2015’s Ms. Universe, Queen P is back in the limelight (as if she even left?) as she confirms receiving offers to return to acting where it all began.
“Yes, there are offers to go back to showbiz, and I’m glad since I’ve always imagined myself going back anyway,” says the beauty queen on International Women’s Day as she admits wanting to go back to the industry.
No detail as to the offers were mentioned, leaving her fans guessing if her next step would be towards the direction of television or the big screen.
‘The next James Bond girl’
Apart from winning the Ms. Universe title, Wurtzbach has always been vocal with her dream of becoming James Bond’s next film love interest; but whether her next appearance would be in Hollywood or the local scene, she is sure to keep her huge following in the Philippines and abroad.
However, this is not the first time Pia Wurtzbach will be stepping in the Philippine showbiz.
For starters, Wurtzbach’s acting career began at age four as Pia Romero, and was later accepted in Star Circle Quest’s Batch 11 along with actresses Maja Salvador, Rayver Cruz, Glaiza de Castro, Carla Humpries, Ketchup Eusebio, Nikki Gil, and Pauleen Luna who has always been her best friend.
Wurtzbach was cast as part of the teenager-lead TV program called K2BU, which featured local stars Bea Alonzo, Angelene Aguilar and Shaina Magdayao.
Wurtzbach likewise appeared in “It Might Be You”, “Maalaala Mo Kaya”, and “Aryana”, all by network giant ABS-CBN.
Pia is back.
Pia Wurtzbach enters showbiz again, as the 27yo says “It has been a while since I’ve done acting but I would love to explore my acting skills again,” Pia positively stated when asked about the possible career path.
“Technically, I’m still with Miss Universe for three more years. The endorsements, the advocacies are still very much there and I still have to go back to New York to report to Miss Universe,” says Pia, clearing that she is still under contract with IMG, the talent management agency based in New York.
She has also appeared in the world’s favorite sports league, National Football League’s Super Bowl 50 as a special correspondent for American show Inside Edition.
Pia Wurtzbach has recently accepted a guesting as judge on Asia’s Next Top Model, Asia’s franchise of super model Tyra Banks’ model hunt series.
