An American internet sensation group Sumner, Connor, Jake, Tylan and Davis appeared in ABS-CBN ‘It’s Showtime’ Wednesday, April 29.

They are known as the ‘Hey Joe Show’ group that has been trending in social media with their viral video frolics and frenzies.

Just like the Tagalog-Speaking American Jared Bray from TFC Balitang America, these animated young men from Utah were sent to the Philippines as humanitarian missionaries in Negros, Bohol and Cebu for two years. Each member became certified Bisaya-Speaking Americans. They went back to the US in 2014 and started uploading their videos in Youtube in Visayan Language.

And just recently, The Hey Joe Show returned to the Philippines for a series of mall shows in the Visayas region for three weeks. The show is not just for entertainment, they are also raising funds for their charity work. They have learned a lot from the Philippines during their stay and they want to give something in return.

Here are the statements in Hey Joe Show website:

“It has always been our desire to return to the Philippines and be reunited with the people and culture so dear to our heart. This summer, we have an opportunity to go as the “Hey Joe Show” team to visit and connect with our fans in the Visayan area.”

“While in the Philippines, we hope to magnify our missionary work previously done while we were serving our missions by working with local church leaders to arrange a series of firesides, with the intent of sharing with the youth our testimonies and religious convictions. Had it not been for our missions, we would never have been able to get to the Philippines the first time. In our return trip, we hope to pay it forward by sharing some of the valuable lessons we learned while serving there.”
