Jej Vinson Pinoy four-chair turner in The Voice US

Jej Vinson got four chair turns for his blind audition in “The Voice US”.

He sang a slower version of “Passionfruit” , which was originally sang by Canadian rapper/singer Drake.

Country singer Blake was the first one to turn his chair. Kelly Clarkson turned just righ before Jej reached the part where there were high notes. Adam Levine and John Legend hit the button almost at the same time.

After his performance, Kelly hugged Jej Vinson out of excitement.

John Legend complimented how Jej hit the notes with precise and beauty. Blake even said that “We all feel that we are looking at the winner of The Voice this season”.

In the end. Jej chose Kelly Clarkson to be his coach.

This 23 y.o Pinoy was born in Davao and moved in to the US when he was 15. He is currently studying popular music performance in University of Southern California.

According to his interview with ABS-CBN News, he personally arranged his audition song. He idolizes Jay-R, Nina, Morissette, Martin Nievera, at Regine Velasquez.

Well it’s no suprise that he can sing as Jej revealed that he came from a family of singers. In fact, Chan Millanes who competed in “The Voice Teens” last 2017  is his first cousin.
