Jimmy Bondoc is now under heat especially from Kapamilya stars after he posted a controversial message.
Yesterday, the “Let Me be the One” singer shared a cryptic post referring to ” biggest tv network”. Allegedly, many netizens including celebrities think that this was all about ABS-CBN.
The assumption was based on President Rodrigo Duterte’s threat that he will object the renewal of ABS-CBN’s franchise. During the 2016 elections, the President revealed that the network did not air any of his TV ads, despite the fact the they paid.
See the post below.
Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin was first to post a reaction in her Twitter account.
Though Angel’s message was not directed towards Jimmy Bondoc, her first few lines was indeed a hint as it was from the lyrics of the song”Let Me be the One”.
Let me be the one to break this news to you so you don’t have to make excuses. The network might not be perfect but for you to be happy about thousands of people losing their jobs is pure evil. Maybe you’re just having a bad day. I will pray for you— Angel Locsin (@143redangel) May 22, 2019
Nung sumikat ka ba may na experience ka na sexual harassment? If yes i encourage you and all the victims to report this to the police. But generalizing that sexual favor is a prerequisite to success is just wrong.— Angel Locsin (@143redangel) May 22, 2019
Jimmy responded to Angel in his FB account.
The argument did not end their as the General’s Daughter lead star again aired her side.
Other celebrities like Sunshine Cruz, Angeline Quinto and Production Manager Deo Endrinal defended the network.
