Justin Bieber Purpose World Tour cancelled

The announcement has been made- the Justin Bieber Purpose World Tour concert is cancelled.

It was last June that news came that pop Icon Justin Bieber will have his 2017 concert here in Manila. The supposed to be concert venue was the gigantic indoor dome Philippine Arena, Bulacan. Ticket prices were revealed, which ranged from Php 1,500 to Php 17,000 plus. Tickets were opened for selling last July 9.

In his official Facebook page, a statement read “Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them…He thanks his fans for the incredible experience of the Purpose World Tour over [the] last 18 months” . The tour started in March 2016 and is said to have done 154 shows. Entertainment news says that the decision came a few days after the Canadian singer was banned from performing in in Beijing, China for “bad behavior.”

Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture released their official statement saying -“In order to maintain order in the Chinese market and purify the Chinese performance environment, it is not suitable to bring in badly behaved entertainers…We hope that as Justin Bieber matures, he can continue to improve his own words and actions, and truly become a singer beloved by the public.

TMZ reported that Justin was spotted in a beach in Santa Monica, California Monday afternoon.

The tour’s next stop is Arlington, Texas, which is the first to be cancelled along with other tour stops including Asia (Japan, Hong Kong, Philippines and Singapore).

SM Tickets has also posted an official statement in their FB account confirming that the Justin Bieber Purpose World Tour Manila is cancelled and tickets will be refunded.
