Lea Salonga did not let her injury stop her from singing with international singer Josh Groban.
This is part of Josh Groban’s “Bridges Tour 2019″ tour. It was held last February 22 at SM Mall of Asia Arena.
It is Josh’s second time to have a concert here in Manila. He first met his Filipino fans in 2007. For this concert he was accompanied by
ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra as well as the Ateneo Chamber Singers .
According to reports, the Broadway superstar and Tony award-winning actress got her injury from a ski trip they took last January in Hokkaido, Japan.
She wore a royal blue dress and was sitting in a wheel chair when she entered the stage. Josh welcomed her with a “Happy Birthday” song, because Lea was actually celebrating her 48th birthday that night.
The two first performed “All I Ask of You” a song from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical Phantom of the Opera. Then, a duet of “The Prayer.”
Despite the fact that Lea Salonga was on a wheelchair, she still delivered a chilling performance!
