Lyca Gairanod once again graced the of “Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids” on Saturday impersonating the icon star Nora Aunor. This was after her energetic impersonation of pop superstar Tina Turner last week.
Lyca Gairanod, the first ever champion of “The Voice Kids,” sang the catchy tune “Tiny Bubbles” wearing a pink, shirt and skirt ensemble made to resemble one of Nora Aunor’s signature looks.
It was all known that Nora has these looks back when she was still making waves as a teen.
The performance Lyca Gairanod was therefore described by Gary Valenciano as a “caricature” of Aunor. I enjoyed so medyo magkaiba iyong view namin pero ako nag-enjoy talaga ako dito,” he said.
Ogie Alcasid was similar in his praise, adding that Gairanod’s nailed all of Aunor’s nuances. “Proud naman ako na mataas naman iyong bar (na na-set) mo ngayon,” he told the child singer.
