Announcement has been made for the Manila Water service interruption that will occur March 14 until 15.
In their officia Facebook page, it was stated that several areas in the East Zone will experience shortage of water supply. The list includes areas in
Makati, Mandaluyong, Pasig, Pateros, San Juan, Taguig, Marikina, and some parts of Quezon City and Manila.
Areas in Rizal province will also be affected namely barangays in
Angono, Antipolo, Binangonan, Cainta, Rodriguez, Taytay, and San Mateo.
Manila Water service interruption was said to last for 6 to 21 hrs. everyday, and could extend for months to come during the summer or dry season.
It was explained that in cases water is available, the flow of water in faucets may be weaker compared to the normal one.
Some of the water interruption schedules are as follows- 5:00 pm to 6:00 am next day; 8:00 pm to 7:00 am next day; 6:00 pm to 5:00 am next day; 10:00 am to 6:00 am next day; 5:00 pm to 12:00 pm next day; 2:00 pm to 5:00 am next day.
Manila Water has recently expressed that they are currently doing “operational adjustments ” in lieu of declining water level of La Mesa Dam .
