Creating a noise on her arrival in the Philippines is Miss Universe Thailand Chalita Suansane.
A total of 17 luggages flew with her when she went aboard first class on Thai Airways. News reports has it that the luggages tipped the scales at 300kg. This is ten times the usual baggage allowance.
Two days before her departure from Thailand, a photo was already posted in her Instagram showing her 11 luggages.
When asked why she brought so many of her stuff, this 22-year old Thai beauty queen answered –
“I have to take a lot of dresses and shoes. I’m so excited to be in the Philippines representing my country.”
Apparently, Miss Universe Thailand hopes that her expansive travel wardrobe of tiaras, evening gowns and swimwear will give her the advantage of winning the Miss Universe crown.
Despite the some raised eyebrows on her controversial arrival, Chalita insists that her luggages ‘wasn’t all that heavy’.
This Thailand beauty even made her way to make “suyo” of Filipinos by wearing a Barong Tagalog inspired outfit in one of her photos.
She also created a short video clip, speaking in Tagalog! It was posted on her official Facebook Page -Namtan Chalita Suansane .
Suansane is the fourth candidate to arrive in the Philippines for the 65th Miss Universe pageant. First to arrive were candidates from US Virgin Islands, Guyana and Brazil.
