‘My Ex and Whys’ blockbuster film earns P200 Million

The blockbuster film of rumored couple Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil, ‘My Ex and Whys’ earns P200 million on its second week of showing.

The blockbuster film is the newest romantic movie project of Liz-Quen.

According to reports, Star Cinema said that the blockbuster film reached the threshold. P200 million gross earnings on Thursday, February 23.

The film as fans truly loves is showing in cinemas nationwide and in some select screens in the US, Canada, and the Middle East.

“My Ex and Whys” premiered last February 15, earning a whopping P31 million for its first day. The teen flick about a former playboy wanting to prove to his ex that he’s a changed man went on to break the P100 million milestone Saturday afternoon.

Because of the undeniable high rating of the blockbuster film as seen in its earnings, it now holds the distinction of being the most successful movie topbilled by Gil and Soberano.

LizQuen’s previous silver screen outings –“Just the Way You Are” and “Everyday I Love You” — both ended its box office runs just above the P100 million mark.

“My Ex and Whys” is directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina.
