In its premiere show on Wednesday, My Ex and Whys earns a gross income of P31 million making it the most successful premiere of any movie top-billed by Liza and Enrique Gil.
Fans of Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil are indeed supportive of their idols as My Ex and Whys earns a remarkable income from its opening day on Wednesday.
Star Cinema, who produced the blockbuster film also said that My Ex and Whys earns an additional P69 million from Thursday to Saturday afternoon.
After three days in Cinema, Star Cinema happily shared that the movie, My Ex and Whys earns P100 million!
Allegedly, it’s only a matter of time before it beats the overall gross of “Just the Way You Are” and “Everyday I Love You” — the two other movies that starred Gil and Soberano. Both movies each barely surpassed P100 million.
The run of “My Ex and Whys” is more on par with “Barcelona: A Love Untold,” which made P321 million for Star Cinema. The romantic drama, also directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, was headlined by Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo.
The movie allegedly earned P130 million after five days of showing in cinemas.
On the other hand, Star Cinema said that “My Ex and Whys” is currently showing in 300 screens nationwide.
