Philippine Navy Opens Recruitment

Do you have the strength, agility and most importantly courage and bravery to defend and serve the Philippine seas? Then join the Philippine Navy!

Philippine Navy is currently recruiting additional members of their fleet who will help them in achieving the goal of  “Protecting the Seas, Securing our Future“.

The will be mobile recruitment and information drive started last February 22 and will run until May 6. There will be mobile recruitment hubs in key cities from Luzon to Mindanao namely La Union, Legazpi City, Cebu City, Palawan, Zamboanga, and Palawan. For those who will be coming from Manila and Cavite, they may visit Philippine Navy’s recruitment office at Bonifacio Naval Station, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.

Philippine Navy Mobile Recruitment

All college graduates are encouraged to apply the Philippine Navy.

Philippine Navy RequirementsSuccessful candidates may opt to undergo the rigorous  NAVAL OFFICERS CANDIDATE COURSE (NOCC) or BASIC SEAMAN COURSE (BSC). Take note Pay and Allowances await those who will qualify.

Basic Requirements for these Philippine Navy posts include:

1. Original and Photocopy of NSO Birth Certificate
2. Original and Photocopy of Transcript of Records
3. Original and Photocopy of College Diploma
4. 2X2 colored ID Picture With White Background
5. Accomplished application form

FOR NAVAL OFFICERS CANDIDATE COURSE (NOCC)

  • Must be a natural born Filipino citizen and of good moral character
  • Must be between 21-28 years old
  • Unmarried and with no child to support
  • Graduate of a 4-year baccalaureate degree (preferably technical courses)
  • Height of at least 5′ 0 ” for both males/females
  • Must not have any pending civil/criminal case
  • Physically and mentally fit for training
  • Must have complete four front (anterior teeth) and at least three molars (back teeth) on both upper and lower jaws
  • Must pass the AFPSAT, IQ and SWE exams

FOR BASIC SEAMAN COURSE (BSC)

  • Must be a natural born Filipino citizen and of good moral character
  • Must be between 18-23 years old
  • Unmarried and with no child to support
  • Holder of at least 72 units in college (preferably technical courses) or TESDA NCII
  • Height of at least 5′ 0 ” for both males and females
  • Must not have any pending civil/criminal case
  • Physically and mentally fit for training
  • Must have complete four front (anterior teeth) and at least three molars (back teeth) on both upper and lower jaws
  • Must pass the AFPATB, IQ exams

PAY AND ALLOWANCES:

FOR NOCC
1.Basic pay of P 29,945.00 for officer in the rank of Ensign/2nd Lt. with lots of opportunities for increases as may be promoted to the higher ranks up to Flag rank/General level.
2.Additional monthly allowance of P 5,750 pay.
3.Longevity pay -10 % of the current monthly base pay compounded every five years of active military service.
4.Cash gifts and bonuses.
5.Opportunities to serve in international peacekeeping missions under United Nations.

FOR BSC
1.Basic pay of P 14,834.00 in the rank of Apprentice Seaman.
2.Additional Monthly allowance of P 5,570 pay
3.Longevity pay -10 % of the current monthly base pay compounded every five years of active military service.
4.Cash gifts and bonuses.
5.Opportunities to serve in international peacekeeping missions under United Nations.

Philippine Navy is also offering the RESERVIST program.

Basic Requirements:

  •  Diploma (at least high school)
  • NSO birth certificate
  •  Brgy Clearance
  •  Police Clearance
  •  Prosecutor Clearance/court clearance (regional trial court)
  •  NBI Clearance
  •  Medical Clearance
  •  2 Pcs. 2×2 picture
  • 2 pcs Post Card size picture (whole body white back ground, wearing white shirt and white maong pants) (White Background)

Basic Qualifications:

  • male or female
  • aged 18-45 y/o
