Pinoy Boyband Superstar winners announced

Pinoy Boyband Superstar winners were announced today December 11, 2016. After the gruelling competition of 40 talented good-looking guys , the five spots were finally filled-in.

Niel Murilio (Kanto Boy Next Door of Cebu) was first to be confirmed as boyband member a day before the Grand Reveal. During the finale, the score mechanics were 50% judges’ score and 50% text and online votes. Niel phenomenally  got the highest score with 98.63% combining the judges’ ratings and the number of text votes.

Today he was joined by Russell Reyes (Fil-Am-azing Boy of Illinois), Ford Valencia (Hunky Haranista of Valenzuela City) , and Tristan Ramirez (Buff Balladeer of Bulacan) , and Joao Constancia (Party Prince of Macau).

These five soon to be young heartthrob superstars will make-up the all-male singing group called Boyband PH.

Prizes won by the winners include cording contracts with One Music, Yamaha Mio motorcycles, and total cash prize of P5 million cash tax-free. The group will be under the management of Star Magic.

After the Grand Reveal, the winners performed their first single  titled “We Made It.”

New Kapamilya Ogie Alcasid performed at the grand finals with his mash-up of What Do you Mean/Sumayaw, Sumunod.

Judge Sandara Park also had her performance. She sang A 2Ne1K-Pop hit titled “Kiss”.
