Just as when Asia’s Got Talent show in AXN channel was about to start, the cyberspace was already flooded with a leaked result that had El Gamma Penumbra trending in all social media sites. Rappler.com and Pep.ph both published articles congratulating the group and confirming their win.
As early as 7:31 pm (local time), the tweetpic below circulated and was recycled until it became trending even before the actual airtime. As a proof that the tweetpic was uncalled for, the official Asia’s Got Talent twitter account asked to bring it down. Now scrolling down further the trending search, it will trace back to its source.
Another Instagram account “raiej” got a screenncap of Starmometer’s original IG post of El Gamma Penumbra’s winning moment on stage.
When someone goes to the original source account, Starmometer, it is evident that the post has deleted but kept other pictures that prove his presence as part of the audience.
What he forgot to remove are his his IG post forwarded to his Twitter account, but when someone clicks on the tweets, the IG posts are no longer available.
The picture that was trending Twitter and Starmometer’s IG post had almost the same viewed angle from the fifth row, so he claims.
Another piece of evidence that he was most likely the source of the leak is his blog site where he declared the El Gamma Penumbra as the winner minutes before the aired telecast.
The alleged leaker Starmometer is handled by Edsel Roy who is a publisher and blogger according to his Instragram and Twitter accounts.
