Janine Berdin, a Tawag ng Tanghalan (TNT) semi-finalist is slowly climbing up popularity. She has been getting applause and even standing ovation for her performances.
This 16-year old lad from Lapu-Lapu city, Cebu is the Visayas Semi-finalist in the Quarter 4 TNT semi-finals. She is competing against the winners who won in the months of February to May. The semi-finals will be a week-long showdown from May 12-18, 2018.
During her audition, Janine sang a unique version of Erasehead’s “Magazine”.
For today’s It’s Showtime episode, Janine sang the OPM alternative song “Narda” , which was originally sung by Kamikazee. Wearing a flowy white gown, she delivered a ballad version of the song. Her raspy but dramatic voice gave a different flavor giving justice to the mellow arrangement of to this rock song.
Just like the previous days, Janine gave an impressive performance and the TNT “hurados” again gave her a standing ovation.

For day 4 of the contest, she had a similar performance. She performed “Banal na Aso” by Yano that made the “hurados” get-up from their seats after being stirred by her powerful performance.
A jazzy “Huling El Bimbo” was her piece for the 3rd day of the semi-finals.
