Reynan Dal-Anay , an 11 year-old lad who went to blind audition last June 6, 2015 was the Voice Kids 2 three-chair turner from Manobo Tribe.
He performed “Tagumpay Nating Lahat” , which made the three coaches Lea Salonga, Sarah Geronimo and Bamboo Manalac turn their chair .
Wearing the traditional clothes of his tribe, the young Dal-Anay courageously said that “Nandito po ako upang maging inspirasyon, hindi lang para sa aking tribo kung hindi para na rin sa lahat ng tribo sa buong Pilipinas.“
“Hindi dapat ikahiya lung ano ang mayroon tayo dahil iyon po ang makapagaangat sa atin,” he also added.
“Tagumpay Nating Lahat” was originally sang by Lea Salong in the 15th Asian Games. On the other hand, according to the local government of Bukidnon, the tribe Tigwahanon Manobo was found at Tigwa River along the watershed in San Fernando.
Coach Sarah Geronimo who admired Dal-Anay said after his performance, “Talagang itinaas niya ung bandera ng tribo nila. Narining namin lahat na may lihab ka talaga sa puso mo.”
Reynan Dal-Anay decided to choose Lea Salonga as his coach, making him the second member of the Broadway Star’s Team. He joins fellow three-chair turner Bianca Marbella.
Meanwhile also in the episode, Kyle Echarri an 11 year old joined the Team Sarah and Romeo Espino a 9 year old joined Team Bamboo.
Hosted by Robi Domingo and Yeng Constantino, “The Voice Kids Season 2” airs every Saturday at 6:45 p.m. and on Sunday at 7:30 p.m.
