#WalangPasok March 19 due to nationwide transport strike.
Transport group Pinagkaisang Samahan ng mga Tsuper at Operator Nationwide (Piston) is set to hold a “No To Jeepney Phaseout Coalition” protest activity tomorrow starting 12:01 am. Rally will be held from 6 am to 4 pm at several areas namely – Alabang, Muntinlupa; Novaliches, Cubao, Quezon City; Monumento in Caloocan, and Anda Circle in the City of Manila.
Metro Manila , Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, and possibly Batangas will be affected by this PISTON strike.
On the other hand, LTFRB board member Aileen Lizada said that government vehicles will be deployed to give service to the affected commuters.
Some schools and universities has announced class suspension.
