It’s the first live show for X-Factor UK and one of the highlights was the Alisah Bonaobra wildcard performance!
After her dramatic exit at the judge’s house episode, and being voted to make a comeback, Alisah’s X-factor journey continues. Each category opened the voting for the wildcard contestants last Monday. Aside from Alisah, three others had the chance to do a come back -Talia Dean, Leon Mallet, and Jack and Joel. They all joined the other X-Factor UK hopefuls .
In her VTR, Alisah described her journey with X-Factor like a “roller coaster ride”. She almost got eliminated at the bootcamp, at the six-chair challenge (Read: Alisah Bonaobra pass the X Factor UK Six Chair Challenge) and her recent stint at the judges’ house seemed the end of her dream (Read:Watch: Alisah Bonaobra judge’s house performance X-Factor UK ).
Because of these challenges, she considered herself “literally as the comeback queen“.
For her wildcard performance, Alisah sang Jordin Spark’s “This is my Now”. It was a song that American Idol grand finalists Blake Lewis and Jordin Sparks sang in the show’s finale.
The three judges (Sharon, Nicole and Louie) were in standing ovation after the Alisah Bonaobra wildcard performance.
Louie were in all praises to Alisah. He even told Sharon “She must be here for a long time. She deserves it”.
Nicole who has always adored Alisah had a beautiful message for her.
“You are my little Disney warrior princess. You just karate-chopped all through that song but you did it with grace, with poise, with strength. I freaking adore you. I look at you and I’m like, that’s my little ninja Filipina sister up there,” she said.
As for Sharon, she said –“Everybody said in this contest that they really want this and that they really need to be here. I know your story. I know what you’ve gone through. With a voice like yours, you are going to be here until the end. I am so happy for you,”
